Happy New Year!

It is around 11:15 am here on the first day of 2015 and I just wanted to say Happy New Year! I rang in the new year with my friend Serengeti, her family, and a bottle of moscato. Other than that, it was a fairly uneventful night, and that is totally fine with me. I woke up this morning to bright sunlight in my face and a slobbery kiss from their dog, Koko. I hope that is a sign for a very awesome new year. I currently have no photos from New Year’s Eve, so I figured a family photo from Christmas would suffice. This holiday season has been so amazing and I am so thankful that I have an amazing family, a job, wonderful friends, and I am attending one of my dream schools. Well, I am going to sign off now so I can fully recover from the events of last night and prepare for the Rose Bowl today (GO DUCKS). I wish you all nothing but the best for this year and the years to come.

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something. -Neil Gaiman
